Decking Supplies

Mon Timber supplies timber decking, composite decking, and the decking frame timber, fixings and trims you’ll need to complete your decking projects.

Decking is a popular choice for transforming gardens, making the most of sloping gardens and creating a great entertaining space. We have a wide range of decking timber at Mon Timber, whatever your needs.

Our softwood timber decking boards are made from redwood pine, which has been pressure treated for added protection against the wet weather.

Kiln-drying the timber before pressure treating makes the wood more receptive. The treatment is absorbed deeply into the wood, providing greater protection from wet weather and rot.

Timber Decking Boards

Using timber decking as an option for patios is becoming increasingly popular for landscaping and garden projects.

Its versatility makes it easy to install, even on uneven ground, allowing for the creation of pathways and taking advantage of the available outdoor space.

Our Redwood Decking comes pressure treated to ensure  improved protection against the elements.

This type of profile, which features a castle-shaped top and ribbed bottom (one side is smooth and the other is grooved), is a popular option and is suitable for most design requirements.

Anti-Slip Timber Decking

We also stock anti-slip decking which features an in-built grit strip for better grip, making it ideal for light commercial settings and stairways.

Yellow Balau Hardwood Decking

For a hardwood alternative, we supply Yellow Balau Wood which is a highly sought-after species used for decking in the UK.

Its warm hues of golden brown, light brown, and pale reddish-brown create a distinct colour palette that blends effortlessly into natural surroundings.

This Malaysian hardwood, also known as Bangkirai, is incredibly sturdy and durable. It boasts a hard, dense texture that makes it ideal for use in decking construction.

Composite Decking

Composite decking is growing in popularity and is a great alternative to timber decking. High Quality composite decking is made from a blend of synthetic materials and natural wood fibres. It retains the wood-grain features of traditional timber decking, but has a more consistent, uniform look. Furthermore, it comes in a wide range of colours.

Composite decking is overall lower maintenance than timber decking, with no need for staining or oiling.

However, composite decking will need to be cleaned regularly to keep it looking good and stop it from getting slippy from algae.
